Trading houses with regional products to be opened in Kuban and Uzbekistan

Vice Governor Alexander Ruppel held a meeting with the deputy khokim (head of administration) of the Andijan Region, Botirzhon Khamraev.

«As part of the Innoprom-2022 exhibition which was held in Uzbekistan, we determined promising areas for the collaboration, and I am very happy that we are now moving from words to deeds. It is related to the export of our food equipment and packaging, fruit and vegetable products, wine products, as well as the import of textiles, from threads and fittings to fabrics and ready-made products,» said Alexander Ruppel in his welcome speech.

There are over 100 light industry enterprises in the Krasnodar Krai, including manufacturers of clothes, shoes, textiles, leather and leather products, and also more than 200 furniture enterprises that are interested in the collaboration with the Uzbekistan manufacturers.

«The Andijan Region is interested in the establishment of a long-term partnership between our regions, business circles and business structures. As a first step, we are offering to create a Trading House of the Andijan Region in the Krasnodar Krai with a wide choice of our products. In turn, we are suggesting that you open a similar Trading House of the Krasnodar Krai in the Andijan Region,» offered deputy khokim Botirzhon Khamraev.

The investment and industrial potential of the Krasnodar Krai in the Andijan Region were presented at the meeting.

The Andijan Region is the most densely populated region of Uzbekistan. It takes up only 1% of the total area of the Republic, but 10% of the country’s population live there.
